The Timothy W. Downey Company moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1998. At that time, Acton Mobile Industries provided the company with a sales office and a construction trailer office for their Cambridge Subdivision in Franklin, Tennessee.
The company recently changed its name to the Southern Land Company and announced plans for a 10-year project in Franklin. Southern Land designed custom homes and landscape plans in several of the most prestigious communities in Atlanta, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Nashville. Acton Mobile Industries worked closely with Southern Land’s project management in designing a 48’ x 60’ sales office. The unit includes T1-11 siding, mansard, and skirting, a white rubber roof, built-in gutters, and downspouts. The interior contains VCG wall covering, 20-oz commercial carpet, 30″ x 54″ windows with blinds and shutters, and a French door.
Once the office was delivered and set up, Southern Land customized the unit to compliment the homes they are building in the community. In addition to completing the interior, they added the porch, decks, landscaping, and finished the roof.

Obviously, Southern Land was a satisfied customer because Acton Mobile then placed an additional seven units at the Westhaven subdivision in Franklin. Just like their Carronbridge project, Southern Land completed all the interior and exterior finish work on the sales office. Hardwood floors, traditional furnishings, and palm trees complete the inviting look at Westhaven.

Another developer, Moore and Associates, saw the building at Westhaven and wanted one just like it for Fairvue, their new subdivision. They contacted Acton Mobile Industries. Moore and Associates will also complete all the work.
