New Acton Mobile Industries, LLC has purchased the assets and business of Bennett’s Trailer Company located in Aston, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. New Acton Mobile Industries, LLC does business as ACTON MOBILE INDUSTRIES throughout the eastern two thirds of the US.

Bennett’s, formed in 1956, is a full-service provider of mobile offices, construction trailers, and storage containers serving southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Acton, formed in 1970, with over 9,000 units in its fleet, is in the same business as Bennett’s and currently operates 16 branches in the Eastern two thirds of the US The Bennett’s facility in Aston, PA will become the Philadelphia Branch of Acton and the 17th location. Acton’s corporate offices are located in Baltimore, MD. Acton prides itself on its customer service and has become the “Value Leader in Mobile Offices”.

Harry Winand has been appointed Branch Manager for the new Acton Philadelphia branch. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the trailer business to his new position. In addition, Acton welcomes a number of the Bennett’s employees who will be staying on with the company.
